The Purpose
Student organization leadership is responsible for promoting diversity and inclusion in everyday interactions with peers and other members of the campus community. In particular, organization leaders must promote the inclusion of students from groups that are marginalized in engineering including (but not limited to) Black, Latinx and Native American students, women students of all races, students with disabilities, members of the LGBTQ+ community and first-generation college students. ÌýIt is not enough just to state that you want diversity; student organization leaders must take action to promote and ensure it. ÌýAll of Â鶹´«Ã½â€™s recognized and engineering student organizations must complete the following requirements in order to be eligible for funds through the Jacobs School of Engineering.
