Astrodynamics, Celestial Mechanics, and Dynamical AstronomyOrbital Debris and Space Situational AwarenessApplied and Computational MathematicsNonlinear Dynamics, Chaotic and Complex Systems.

Rosenberg's current research directions include the application of dynamical systems theory to space domain awareness and space traffic management to define perennial ad-hoc practices and policies to make space a sustainable resource. Research interests lie in the fields of celestial mechanics, applied and computational mathematics, nonlinear dynamics, and complex systems.

Capsule Bio:

Rosengren served as an Assistant Professor in the College of Engineering and of the Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Applied Mathematics at the University of Arizona for over three years, before joining the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Â鶹´«Ã½ in July 2020. He previously worked at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece in the Department of Physics, and served as a member of the EU Asteroid and Space Debris Network, Stardust, working for two years at the Italian National Research Council. He held visiting researcher positions at the University of New South Wales, Canberra in Australia, the Asher Space Research Institute at Technion in Israel, the University of Rome Tor Vergata in Italy, and the Belgrade Astronomical Observatory in Serbia. Rosengren has authored or co-authored around 20 peer-reviewed journal publications and 60 conference papers and abstracts, reporting research at the intersections of space situational awareness, astrodynamics, and dynamical astronomy.
